The Texas Department of State Health Services TexasAIM Team requests your assistance in identifying applicants for TexasAIM Plus Sepsis in Obstetric Care Learning Collaborative Faculty including:
Physician(s) specializing in:
- Obstetrics;
- Maternal-Fetal Medicine;
- Obstetric Hospital Medicine;
- Family Medicine/obstetric care;
- Rural Medicine/obstetric care; or
- Obstetric Nursing/Maternal Health Nursing.
Physician(s) and Nurse(s) specializing in:
- Infectious Diseases;
- Intensive Care;
- Emergency Medicine/Emergency Care; and
- Obstetric Nursing/Maternal Health Nursing.
Certified Nurse Midwives

Applicants for the Sepsis Learning Collaborative Faculty positions should have significant experience implementing multi-disciplinary patient safety improvement initiatives in hospital settings and a passion and skill for mentoring and coaching teams. Faculty will draw from their own practical experiences with hospital-based maternal safety efforts to bring both subject matter expertise and improvement expertise to the TexasAIM program.
TexasAIM faculty serve in a voluntary capacity and are not DSHS employees. Reimbursement for travel expenses will be provided.
