Honoring Those Who Dedicated Their Lives to Care

The North Texas Nurse Honor Guard is committed to honoring nurses at the end of life for their selfless dedication and compassion. We provide a dignified tribute through the “Nightingale Tribute”, ensuring that nurses receive the respect and recognition they deserve.

During the Ceremony, We:
- Wear the traditional white uniform, cap, and cape
- Stand guard and provide a presence at services (by family request)
- Recite the Nightingale Pledge at memorial services
- Present the Florence Nightingale lamp to the family
- Perform the Last Call to Duty

Beyond end-of-life services, we also support the nursing profession by participating in nurse graduations, pinning ceremonies, high school events, conferences, and more!

Join Us in This Meaningful Mission
Annual membership is $50, which helps cover lamps, roses, and ceremonial items to provide no-cost services to families.
